YEARBOOK:  This yearbook pre-sale price is only valid through the first payment window.  Captains Scott and Geimer (the Senior Class Advisers) will only accept yearbook sales through these Senior Packages.  If you want to purchase a yearbook later on in the school year, or if you would like your yearbook personalized in any way, purchases must be made through the Jostens.com website.  Please direct any other questions to the yearbook sponsor, SMA-CPT Loyd.

HOWL-O-SCREAM:   Every year, SMA has attempted to take the senior class on a Halloween trip to a theme park.  We will be going to Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens this year!  Students must ride the bus to the event.  Students are not allowed to drive themselves to the event.  Students MUST secure a ride home from campus after the event.  Students may wear casual clothing to the event. 

Students will need to bring additional money for food.  ONLY the first 100 seniors to reserve a ticket will be permitted to attend.

COST:  $90  (only $80 if you purchase it early with a package!)

DEPART SMA:  5:00 p.m.

RETURN SMA:  1:30 a.m. 

PROM:  This year SMA’s Senior Committee will be planning prom.  The theme will be decided on by the senior class.  The dress code for the event is formal wear.  Any outside guest (if permitted) must fill out a form and sign a behavioral contract in order to attend.  This form will be uploaded to the Google Classroom at the beginning of the school year, and will be due with all relevant signatures and information by April 22nd, 2022. 

More information will be available closer to the date of the event.  

COST:  $75 (this ticket price does not go up)

DATE:  May 18, 2022 

LOCATION & TIME:  ON A BOAT 6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

GRAD BASH:  This is an event exclusively for high school seniors.  Schools from around the country attend this event.  The event is located at both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.  There is a live concert by a performing artist (the artist is always named a few months before the event).  Students cannot buy Fast-Passes.  Once again, students must ride the bus to the event.  Students are not allowed to drive themselves to the event.  Students must follow a dress code for this event.   Students MUST secure a ride home from campus after the event.  A detailed dress code will be sent out prior to the event.  Students will need to bring additional money for food. 

ONLY the first 100 seniors to reserve a ticket will be permitted to attend.

COST:  $135  (only $125 if you purchase it early with a package!)

DEPART SMA:  4:00 p.m.

RETURN SMA:  4:30 a.m.

SPRING DRESS DOWN DAYS:  These are normal Dress Down Days for the whole school, designed to raise funds for senior class events.  This is just an opportunity for you to pay $5 for each one in advance and not have to wait in line.  By opting to pay for them in advance, you will be permitted to dress down for reduced cost.

SENIOR T-SHIRT:  The design for the senior shirts is decided on by the senior class.  Voting will begin after designs are finalized on Google Classroom (code: eylddqb).  These t-shirts will be super comfy and may be worn on Fridays in lieu of the polo on spirit days! 

COST:  $20  (only $15 if you purchase it early with the package!)

SPIRIT WEEK:  We will have an all school spirit week during the week of October 25-29.

Tuesday, October 26 -  Decades Day (seniors 70s) 

Wednesday, October 27 - Heroes vs. Villains 

Thursday, October 28 - Class Color Day (Colors to be chosen by Senior Committee) 

Friday, October 29 - HALLOWEEN COSTUME DAY (Follow guidelines in cadet handbook)

Senior week will be the week before Prom. Themes to be determined.
