Attention:  Eagle Regiment Grads. 

Hooah!

You transitioned through the iron gates years ago and have become solid adults and citizens. Your SMA years have paid off as you have remembered your days on the SMA campus. I’m sure you remember the raising of our country’s flag into the first rays of the sun each morning as we recited the Pledge. Wonderful patriotic times together! I always looked forward to morning formation.

We have certainly not forgotten you and we have stories to tell!

SMA will celebrate 20 years of tremendous success this year and you are part of that success.

It’s now way past time for you to join the alumni regiment and continue to be part of SMA’s amazing experience. In this message you will find a link to join the SMA Alumni Society. Please do so and we can keep in touch as the years roll on.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you all and we will plan some interesting events that will bring your fellow cadets together again.

Coming Home: Proud SMA Alumni Share Their Journey

These were moments of pride and celebration—two SMA alumni returned to the High School campus in August and September to share their SMA memories and life journeys since graduation with the Corps of Cadets.

• SMA Alumnae Class of 2018 Phoenix Berman, News Writer and Producer at CBS Philadelphia, imparted amazing journalism wisdom to SMA-CPT Loyd's Yearbook/Journalism class. Phoenix previously worked for CNN International. She provided great insight to the interview process and talked about career opportunities for the Journalism field.

• SMA Alumnus Class of 2013, Jessiah Straw, Associate Vice President at Merit Holdings, spent the day on campus and addressed the Eagle Regiment at formation. He then met with the entire senior class emphasizing taking action now to position for greater possibilities tomorrow. The interactive dialogue included the college application process, career options, and more importantly, being proactive. He later met with individual classes in entrepreneurship, marine science, mathematics and English to name a few, and reiterated his message. Indeed, Jessiah’s advice and passion clearly was an inspiration to move cadets to action.
