Our American Story at SMA seeks meaningful, personal reflections that capture what the American experience truly means to you and your family.
We invite you to share stories that highlight themes such as freedom, service, sacrifice, opportunity, perseverance, patriotism, or gratitude. This could include military service, immigration journeys, family traditions, overcoming adversity, community involvement, career paths inspired by the American Dream, or moments when you felt especially proud to be an American.
Your story can be historical or recent, simple or profound, what matters most is that it is authentic and personal. By sharing specific memories, lessons learned, and values passed down through generations, you help us preserve the spirit of our nation and inspire our cadets to appreciate the responsibilities and blessings of living under the American flag.
We are looking for heartfelt stories that reflect who we are, what we stand for, and how the ideals of freedom and independence have shaped your life.
Every story matters. Every voice shapes our shared legacy. Together, we will celebrate America’s 250th anniversary by telling the story of our nation — one SMA Eagle at a time.
