Who We Are
Founded in 2002, Sarasota Military Academy (SMA) is a nonprofit, tuition-free, public charter school with two unique campuses offering Quality Academics, Character and Leadership Development to students in grades 6-12.

To equip cadets with the skills, values, and education that will enable them to lead productive and fulfilling lives.

Cadet CSM Zachary Jewell commanded the regiment, guiding the Corps through the precise procedures of morning formation. While these routines are a daily practice in discipline and unity, the September 11th ceremony carries a deeper significance, turning familiar drills into acts of honor and tribute.

JROTC instructors conducted in-depth interviews to ensure each cadet's strengths align with the effective roles.
