While working on my bachelor’s degree in Psychology, I served as a ballet instructor for a dance ministry in Bradenton, FL. In 2011, I became a part of the Manatee County School District working in various roles under the Title I umbrella. I served ESOL students and families in different schools from grades KG-8th grade. Through this time, I was able to obtain my Professional Educators Certification and a Master’s Degree in School Counseling. In the past five years, I served as an ESOL Paraprofessional, ESOL/Migrant Liaison, Academic Coach, KG and First Grade teacher, ESOL Program Coordinator, and School Counselor.

I am excited to be able to continue advocating for students and families as part of the SMA Prep’s School Counseling team. School counseling is my passion and I love helping students achieve success in the areas of personal, social, academic and career.
