SMA-SFC, Media Center/Supply
I am known as Maggie born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and immigrated to the United States in 1977. I was married the same year and became an Army Spouse. During the first 10 years of marriage, I did not pursue a career as my mission in life was to bring up our two boys until they were in elementary school.
I worked as a nursing assistant, Cushing Medical Plaza, Leavenworth, Kansas. Customer Service Association at Fort McClellan, Alabama. Facilitator, Fort Bliss, Texas (Sergeant Major Academy).
When my husband retired, we relocated to Florida and I worked at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center as a Health Information Specialist and eventually moved to SMA as Staff Support.
During my time as Army Spouse, I had the opportunity to attend the Army Command Sergeants Major Spouse Seminar, Spouse Leadership Development Course, Spouse Group Facilitator Training Course and the Equal Opportunity Training. I was awarded the Commander’s Award for Public Service prior to my husband’s retirement.
