Master's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration, Columbia Southern University;  Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, Troy University.

I joined the United States Army in June 1982.  I trained and qualified as a Field Artillery Cannon crewman at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.  Upon graduation from Basic Airborne School, I was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division where I served for 13 years.  After successfully graduating from the United States Army Drill Sergeant school, I served as Platoon Sergeant and Senior Drill Sergeant at Fort Sill, OK.  I then served in every position within the field artillery career field from Cannon Crew member to Battalion Command Sergeant Major.  My tours of duty include Fort Bragg, N.C., Fort Stewart, GA.,  Fort Lewis, WA., Fort Sill, OK., also in Baumholder, Heidelberg and Grafenwoehr, Germany.  My last assignment prior to returning stateside was the Detachment Command Sergeant Major of Stability, Sustainment and Training Team number 2 while deployed in Afghanistan.  My deployments include Bosnia; twice to Iraq, the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan and Kuwait.  My Decorations include 2 Bronze stars; 5 Meritorious service medals, 7 Army Achievement medals and the Afghan Army Medal of Honorable Action.  My last tour of duty prior to retirement in July, 2015 was as the Fort Sill, OK. Post Operations Sergeant Major.
