SMA-CPT, Science Instructor
As a United States Peace Corps Volunteer, I had the opportunity to explore the world of teaching through development and implementation of public health presentations for adults and youth. After several years in government, public, and private sector work, I chose to return to my original passion: Science. Circumnavigating the global understanding of how science impacts the world.
I teach Environmental and Marine Science at Sarasota Military Academy. My aim is to incorporate my personal and professional experiences into the study of science to illuminate for students how science impacts their daily lives. Moreover, I want students to leave my classroom knowing how, through the use of science, they can impact the world.
