SMA-CPT, World Languages/American Sign Instructor

B.A. Graphic Design, Gallaudet University

M.A. Deaf Education, Lamar University

I was born hearing and became deaf at the age of nine months old.  I went to a private deaf school for fifteen years.  I have a passion for American Sign Language, deaf history and deaf culture.  My goal at SMA is for my students to have an understanding and appreciation of why American Sign Language is greatly valued in the tight-knit deaf community.
